Epicurean Kitchen - FREE from the China milk scandal
After the withdrawal of 11 CADBURY products, including chocolate eclairs and other chocolate products sold in Australia, Epicurean Kitchen is proud to announce that their bakery is melamine FREE. All chocolates supplied to Epicurean Kitchen are produced by NESTLE and FREE of melamine.
After tests had found that CADBURY based chocolates contained the industrial chemical at the centre of China’s toxic milk scandal, Epicurean Kitchen began to trace the origins of the chocolate used in their high quality cakes and treats. Nestle Confectionery has assured Epicurean Kitchen that their chocolates are FREE of China’s toxic milk.
This is another good reason why small businesses like Epicurean Kitchen take careful precautions when purchasing non Australian based products. Director of Epicurean Kitchen, Mr George Efremidis says “we first look for quality Australian ingredient before excepting overseas lines. We strive to help local growers and producers by using Australian made raw ingredients first. Let’s keep it in Australia everyone”.
